These Times 6 By Mike Lakin Along about the second .~ day of December it's spittin' snow, cold and I get a call from Lyle Fout. He wants to ~. know ifl have had anyone that's found mushrooms in December. Nope. Well he did. And of Course I want to see. Lyle showed me one, then to prove the truth of it, he takes me to the place he found it, and there's one growing, we discuss his unusual find. He doubts he will taste it - he thought it smelled strange. Brought to mind hunting mushrooms with my grandpa Bradway in the 1950s; he claimed he found 'rooms because he could smell 'em before he found 'em; then he'd tap the ground with his cane to get them to "pop" out of the ground. Lot of times we had tvv.o paper sacks full by the time we headed home. Serbia wants Steven Seagal to train their special police force. I-i I't P tO 0 I--i OI FREE ShippirH to our store on our orders.
