Pulaski. Grandparents are Scot & Sandy Remmert anc[ Dale & Pat Yaple, all of Mt.. Pulaski. Great-Grandparents-are" Juanita Erlenbush of Mt. Pulaski and George & Audrey Yaple of Carbon Hill, AL. Kennedy Nicole (16 mos), & Broxton Ryan (3 mos), are the children of Jeremy & Kara Davis of Mt. Pulaski. Grandparents are Bob & Lisa Brown of Mt. Pulaski and Jerry & Sharon Davis oT Sherman. Great-Grandparents are Tom & Waneta Stepbens of Mt. Pulaski and Toots Davis bf Elkhart. During World War II it was necessary for Americans to mail Christmas gifts early for the troops in Europe to receive them in time. Merchants joined in the effort to remind the public to shop and mail early and the protracted shopping season was born. Benjamin (10) and Jackson (7) are the children of Nathan and Heather Fricke (Mt. Pulaski). Grandparents are Jerry and.Sharon Davis (Sherman), Chuck and Penny Fricke (Lin- coln), and Debra Fricke (Springfield). Great-grandlbarents art Elma "Toots" Davis (Elkhart) ahd Emmitt Shellhammer (Mt. Pulaski).. Areas first sticking snow arrived Dec. 8/9. Wasn't much, but you could-see it. Couple days earlier snowflal~es.were in the air, but served only as notice of what's to come.. Times Photo Will, 10 years old is a fourth grader at Woodland Elementary. They are the Sons of Dr. Dean and Susan Schueler of EdwardsviUe, IL. Grandparents are Dorothy and Donald Schueler of Rosewood Heights, IL and Sue and Eddie Schaffenacker of Mt. Pulaski. New Year's Eve At The Museum Mt. Pu!~ki Township Historical Museum will open at 6 New Year's Eve, in conjunction with the town celebration. Closing will be by 10 so all can take part in the gathering on the square.
