Notice the amount of wood construction of the floors, ceilings and stairs. The ceilings were weakened by the explosion in 1958 and were braced with wood. JOHN (JACK) LAUER ANNOUNCES CANDIDACY John R. (Jack) Lauer, 42, of Broadwell, Tuesday formally announced his candidacy for non]marion on the Republican ticket for state representative from the 44th legislative district and is circulating petitions for the March 21 primary election. Lauer, a farmer, is an associate professor of eco- nomics and senior mem- ber of the department of business and economics at Lincoln College, Lincoln. Mr. and Mrs. Lauer re- side near Broadwell with their four children, Karen, 18; Lee Anne, 17; Christie 14; and John 12.
