3 Mount Pulaski High School ~0 r, Senior of the Month Miranda Hilliard Miranda is the daughter of Jo and Jack Hilliard of Mt. Pulaski. She was selected for this honor based on the criteria of scholarship, leadership, service, and character. Miranda is very involved in activities at MPHS. For the last 4 years she has participated in Pep Band, Scholastic Bowl, Drama, Spanish Club, Marching Band, and Choir Club. She has also been a member of the Soccer team, Stu- dent Council, and Work Camp, each for I year. Outside of school Miranda volunteers for the children's ministry, youth group at MPCC, and does volunteer work at a nursing home. Miranda plans on studying business at Illi- nois State University. Monthly award winners receive a $50 award paid to the college they plan to attend and com- pete for the Senior-of-the-Year honor in May. FOR 2015 -total moisture to date is 29.83". Snowfall was 23.8" through March. FOR 2014 - total moisture was 44". Snowfall was 40.6" FOR 2013 - total moisture was 28.17". Snowfall was 24". William & Phyllis Bryson Game-By-Game Honeybears Review By Coach Jamie Anderson At Jacksonville - Honeybears traveled to Jacksonville on to take on Jacksonville Our Saviours. 8th grade Honeybears (9 - 7) lost their contest 52 - 21. Isa-~ bella Wade led the Honeybears with 9 points. Olivia Cooper scored 8 points. Reagan Kirk and Makayla Stewart each added a basket, 7th grade Honeybears (5 - 11) lost their contest 39 - 8. Clarissa Turner scored 5 points. Katelyn Eskew made a basket and Alexia Davis added a free throw. 6th grade Honeybears (6 - 2) lost their game 28 - 8. Alexis Wade, Je'Na Rentmeister, Clarissa Turner, and Cassidy Clark each made a basket.
