Game 2, The Lady Top- pers were in the driver's seat from beginning to end. Jessica Awe had four kills, four assists and seven digs. Haley Bowles had five kills and one ace. A rematch of the Sept. 20 match, the Crusaders won in three games scoring 15-25, 25- 17, 25-13• Saturday's (Nov. 6) matchup was back and forth; giving fans from both schools plenty to cheer about. But. In the end, the Crusaders downed the Lady Toppers 25-23, 25-11, capturing the IHSA Class 1A Supersec- tional Title. The Lady Toppers were up 7-5 in the first game. The Toppers took the lead late, a three-point run to a 22-21 lead The Crusaders fought back, with a Game 1 narrow victory. Game 2, the Crusaders took a 16-5 lead over the Lady Toppers; cruising to a 25-11 win and a super- sectional title. Jessica Awe had five kills, eight digs and three assists.
