Pulaski Grade School students and teachers launched red balloons during Red Ribbon Week. Each bal- loon asks the finder to let the school know where it was found. In 2001 some of the balloons made it to the State of New York. A few balloons got ahead start, and a couple didn't make it past trees Mt. Pulaski Times at the school, but the majority caught the wind and lifted well into the sky. A circling hawk didn't seem at all phased by the balloons going past.
