Pulaski Times - 6 Friday September 24 the Singley family gathered to celebrate Melvin's 87th birthday, Dinner was at the birthday boy's favorite restaurant, Lonestar in Springfield. Attending were his wife of sixty-four years, Shirley; daughter Jane and her husband Gary and son Andrew: daughter Becky and husband John along with their two daughters Andrea and Didi and Andrea's children Nick and Abigail. His birthday cake in the shape of a huge cupcake was baked by Jane. =:Dn Maur:$cott and 6-ifig werr'ecl Octobdi; Green, Missouri. He is retired from and from Roland Machinery in Springfield. Mrs. Scott is retired from J C Penney in Lincoln. They are parents of four daughters: Kathy (Franklin) Richardson of Mesa, AZ, Judy (Lyndel) Emrick of Mt. Pulaski, Gloria (Dave) Reynolds of Springfield, and Deborah Klein, deceased. There are 12 grandchildren. 18 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchil- dren.
