Saturday morning (October 10) an extremely thick ground fog welcomed folks in the AM. The band of white obliterated the lower parts of everything - from a distance. Pulaski High School Senior of the Month , Elizabeth Siebert Elizabeth is thedaughter of Jill & Rob Siebert of Mt. Pulaski. She was s lected for this honor based on the criteria of scholarship, leadership, service, and charac ter. Elizabeth is very involved in activities at MPHS. She is a member of the girl's basketball team, a member of the soccer team, and a member of the track team. She also participates in band, choir club, drama club, NHS, science Olympiad, Spanish club, spirit squad, student council, and WYSE. Outside of school Elizabeth is a children's ministry volunteer at MPCC and is actively involved in the youth groups. Elizabeth plans on majoring in Chemistry and Span- ish education in college. She also plans on playing soccer. Senior-of-the-Month program is sponsored by Johnson's Food Center and Johnson True Value Hard- ware. Monthly award win- ners receive a $50 award paid to the college they plan to attend. They are also in the run- ning for the $500 Senior- of-the-Year award spon- sored by Illinois National Bank. 12 Lightening the Load Two farmers are talking when one turns to the others and asks, 'Do your hogs smoke?
