In Mem0nj Richard Larry Roberts Served in Vietnam War Graduated Mt. Zion High School Loved Spending Time V~Flth Grandchildren Richard Larry Roberts, 74, of Mt. Pulaski died at 7:45 pm, Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at Illinois Veterans' Home, Quincy. He was born September 14, 1943 in Lincoln, to Richard Lee and Margaret (Herron) Roberts. He married Cheryl Morris on March 7, 1964. Surviving are his wife, Cheryl; sons, James Rob- errs of Springfield and Jeremy (Wendi) Roberts of Mt. Pulaski; and grandchildren, Madaline and Logan Roberts. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: John Lee and Otto William and sisters: Emma Jean Whitacre and Rose Binkley. Larry was a United States Army Veteran serving in Viet- nam from September 1968 to August 1969. He graduated Mt. Zion High School in 1961 and worked most recently at Korethe Custom Seed. He enjoyed collecting toy farm tractors and espe- cially loved spending time with his grandchildren. Graveside Services were Monday, October 9 at Camp Butler National Cemetery where military honors were accorded. Memorials: Operation Smile. In Memory Robert E. "Bull" l Myard Served in Vietnam War Member of Mt. Pulaski Masonic Lodge # 87 A.F. & A.M. Avid Cubs Fan Robert E. "Bull" Bolyard, 76, of Elkhart passed away at his home Tuesday, October 3, 2017. Robert Eugene Bolyard was born June 18, 1941 in Bluff City, the son of Pearl Henry and Martha Ernestine Kohler Bolyard. He was united in mar- riage to Donna Koehne July 5, 1977. She survives. Also surviving are his chil- dren: Robert Anthony (Mary) Hoope~ Michael Thomas (Michelle) Koehne, Jamison Henry Wilhelm (Shelbie Glea- son), and Jeremiah Ernest Eugene Bolyard; Uncle Richard Kohler; Grandchildren: Eric, Christian, Tiffany, Michael, Makayla, Colton, Riley Pearl, Alaina, Brixen Ivy and great grandson Liam. He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister Kath- ryn LaBarre. Bob served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Mt. Pulaski Masonic Lodge # 87 A.F. & A.M. and Teamsters Local #916. He was a sponsor and Committee Member for Ducks Unlimited in Lincoln for many years. Bob was an avid Cubs fan. He enjoyed wood- working and fishing. Bob worked for Concrete Ready Mix for 10 years. Graveside Services for Bob were Monday, October 9 at Camp Butler National Cemetery in Springfield. Dr. Raju Paturi officiated. American Legion Post #263 of Lincoln accorded military Rites. Memorials: American Legion Post # 263 in Lincoln.
