Pulaski Times St Thomas Aquinas 150th Anniversary Celebration Saturday, October 29 11Am: Bishop Daniel Jenky will lead a procession from the town square to the Church(weather permitting). 11:30Am: Mass celebrated by the Bishop, with present and former pastors. Immediately after 11:30Am Mass: Ocktoberfest Dinner E.R. Gone Wrong I'm writing this letter because; I'm very upset with the care I received recently at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospitals' E.R Department. My arrival was due to me slipping and falling at my home. The fall caused several cuts on my arms and legs that led me to believe that I could possibly be severely hurt. I must have hit my head due to the fall that left me feeling a little fuzzy, but what wasn't fuzzy was the care I received. The person who took me to the hospital is my dad. (Not my biological dad) but has been in my life since I was five years old. The first nurse that came in the room wasn't wor- ried about the cuts, blood or the amount of pain I was in; she asks, "What relation are you?" I said that's my dad. Then the second nurse comes in and ask the same question "what relation are you" I said once again that's my dad. Oh I will give the (E.R. Department) credit, the doctor ordered tests. It turns out I bruised my ribs on my ($10 Adults, $6 Children) at the American Legion Hall. Everyone is invited to help celebrate this special occa- sion. For menu and addi- tional information go to left side and had a concus- sion. Then the doctor says, "What relation are you"? I said that's my dad once again! By this time not one person has cleaned my cuts or removed the blood. Which led me to believe they were more worried about a black male in his 50s and a white female in her 30s? While I was using the bathroom, I was rudely inter- rupted, due to one of the nurses entering the bathroom looking for a lost patient. By this time I really didn't know what to think, I never thought that a small town (E.R. Department) could lose a patient. When I was released my arms and legs still had not been treated. When we die do you think if we leeled back our skin we would look differently? Let us love one another for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows of God.
