Drobisch, a form- mg er resident of Mount Pulaski vicinity, who moved to San Bern- ardino, Calif. many years ago to live with her daughter Mrs. Wil- ton McQuaid. died there at 4 a.  Tuesday, Oct. 3, 1961. She was aged 85 years, 11 months and 27 days. Decedent was born Oct. 6, 1875 on a farm along Sale Creek in Chester township, Ill., over 3 miles north of Mount Pulaski, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mor- row. In Mount Pulaski on May 26, 1896, she was united in marriage to George Drobisch of this city. They lived for many years on a farm several miles southeast of this city. After the death of her husband on March 22, 1939, Mrs. Drobisch later left for California to.. Drobisch was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and Royal Neighbors Lodge of Mt. Pulaski. Besides her daughter, Mrs. Wil- ton McQuaid, of San Bernardino, decedent is survived by two sis- ters, Mrs. Anna Bell of Hillsboro, Ill., and Mrs. Florence Wessen- backer, of Klamath, Oregon. : The remains arrived in Mount Pulaski this Thursday afternoon, Oct. 5, and were taken to the Schahl funeral home where eral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, conducted by the Ray. Ray O. Zumstein, pastor of the St. John's Lutheran Church. Inrment will be made in the Mount Pulaski Cemetery. Sunday Driving: The crawl of the open road. JOHN HASSEBROCKS CELEBRATE THEIR 45th ANNIVERSARY Mr. and Mrs. John Hassebrock, Sr., who celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary on Sept. 28, were guests of honor at two fam- ily gatherings. On Wednesday of last week the following children and grand- children gathered at the Tomlin- son Recreation Center for a pot- luck supper and wiener roast: Mr. and Mrs. John Hassebrock, Jr. and five children, Lincoln; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Roos and five chil- dren, Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Ruwe and four children, of Beason; Mr. and Mrs. Everett Stoll and six children, Chestnut; Mr. and Mrs. Ray Hassebrock and son Ray Allen, Mr. and Mrs. Loren Hassebrock and son Frank, and Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Hasse- brock, all of Mount Pulaski. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Hassebrock of Decatur were unable to attend. On Sunday, the following chil- dren and their spouses enjoyed dinner at the Redwood near De. catur: Mr. and Mrs. John Hasse- brock, Jr., Lincoln; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Roos, Mr. and Mrs. Wil- bur Ruwe, Beason; Mr. and Mrs. Everett Stoll, Chestnut; Mr. and Mrs. Glen Hassebrock, Decatur; Mr. and Mrs. Ray Hassebrock, Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Hassebrock, Mr. Pulaski. Mr. and Mrs. Loren Hassebrock were unable to be present. The WSCS of the Methodist church will meet Thursday, Oct. 12 at 2 pzn. in the home of Mrs. Vera Games, who will also be hostess. Mrs. Otis Howe, St., will have the lesson. Mr. and Mrs. John Scheetz are visiting their daughter and fam- ily in Houston, Texas. Mr. and Mr Donald Howe and sons of Warrensburg, were call- ers on the O. G. Howe's, Sr. Sun- day afternoon and evening.
