Teacher Appreciation Day Mount Pulaski Christian Church is having a "Teacher Appreciation Day" Sunday, September 20 during the 10:30 worship service in the Family Life Center. All teachers from the local school systems are invited to participate, as we will be praying for the upcoming school year. Superintendent Todd Hamm and high school principle Terry Morgan will be in attendance. Pastor Mark Weber will be talking about teachers being "the salt of the earth" and the "light of the world." The public is welcome to attencL I would like to thank Lake Fork Fertilizer for purchasing my 2015 scramble steer. Wiskey stood fifth over-all in competition. I was also the recipient of the 2015 Logan County 4-H Beef Herdsman Award for 2015. Thanks - Colton Westen German Fest Saturday, October 10 St. Thomas Aquinas Church/s serving... For adults - Grilled Brats with Sauerkraut, Hot German Potato Salad, Red Cab- bage, Spaetzle, German Desserts, Tea, Coffee, or Lemonade for $9 per person.
