At Johnson True Vatue Fall Festival Memory There's a Soap Box Derby Car at Doug's. Built decades ago by Roland Halstead, it was the entry of Mt. Pulaski Rotary for Mt. Pulaski Fail Festival's Soap Box Derby. The derby was a popular event for some time, featuring sev- erai homemade cars. The races started on Sat- urday mornings and ran until just before the Fall Festival Parade. Don't know who, don't know how, but the school crossing sign at Zion Lutheran School was down.
