9 Mt. Pulaski Road District Sealcoating Mt. Pulaski Township will be sealcoating (oiling and chip- ping) roads the week after Labor Day, September 8-11 unless weather delays would push it back O1 !2ee '~ i.d- i" p----- i Bare rock spots will be primed with raw oil and left uncov- ered for a few hours; they will be marked with "Fresh Oil" signs. You may drive across these areas, but drive VERY slowly; you will almost certainly pick up some asphalt on your vehicle. Small areas will only take a short time (10-15 minutes, mostly) to do. Long stretches of road will be closed to traffic for an hour or two at a time. "Country Place" subdivision will also be sealcoated: resi- dents there should look for a flyer a day or two before the work is performed-be aware that ALL vehicles will have to be off of the streets while the work is being done. This has been a strange year as far as weather, and labor and equipment availability were concerned; we apologize for the inconvenience the lateness of this project causes. Thank you for your cooperation and patience during this work. Leslie "Foxie" Hild 792-5164 (ans. machine) One third of Americans have had an unexpected medical bill in the past two years where their health plan paid less than expected. Bob Metz (P & M Communications) continues to "stum- ble into" people who have invested in this new drone technol- ogy. Bob studied various products for well over a year and finally settled on this product. It meets all federal requirements. It doesn't go above 400 feet and if one takes into a restricted area of a major airport, the motors will not function. It has a 4k camera, allowing for great pictures or video and there is no need for a smart phone to see the video, it is on the controller - you see what the camera is seeing. The drone is produced by Yuneec (pronounced Unique). Bob's P & M Communications (see ad this paper) sells these in his shop in Lincoln. If someone wishes to look at the product, check out "Q500 4K." Also unusual is that this unit comes with a carrying case, two batteries and two sets of blades, where most other companies view these items as add-ons to their products, thus costing more in accessories. Bob says most everyone would want "2" batteries so they are not waiting for batteries to charge before another flight. The controller sends out two warnings when the unit battery becomes low. On the second warning, the control- ler will not only beep, it vibrates telling you to takes steps to bring the unit home - flip the Home button and the unit comes back and lands. The drone is easy to set back into the protective metal case. Remove the blades and set in, it does not have to be dis- assembled. Once one has the batteries charged it is basically 3 minutes, out of box to flight. It is simple. You can see the product at:, even better, see it in Bob's shop.
