Pulaski passed away peace- fully at 8:38 A.M. Monday August 3, 2015 at Vonder- lieth Living Center in Mt. Pulaski. Bernice was born August 9, 1920 in Peoria to Philipp and Sophie Max Hoerr. She taught kindergarten and first grade from 1940- 1945 in Peoria Heights. She started Zion Lutheran Kin- dergarten and taught for 15 years. Bemice was also a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Mr. Pulaski, where over the years she had been involved with Sunday school, belonged to LWML, and sang in the choir. She married Carl Stahl on October 14, 1945 in Peoria. He preceded her in death on November 1, 2008. Surviving are children - C. Lewis Stahl of Springfield; Christine (Russell) Price of Park Rapids, MN; Gretchen (Duane) Nelson of Sioux City, IA; and Carla (Michael) Kopec of Springfield. Also surviving are sisters - Shirley Gorenz of Peoria and Phyllis (Elmer) Johnson of Raleigh, NC; brother - Max (Kather- ine) Hoerr of Peoria; brother- in-law- Fred (Eleanor) Stahl of Mr. Pulaski; nine grand- children; and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Geraldine Peters, Marjorie Fehr, and In Laws Ed and Lois Stahl. Private family services will be held at a later date with Rev. Jonathan Buescher offi- dating. Burial will be at Mt. Pulaski Cemetery. Memorials: Zion Lutheran Church or Zion Lutheran School of Mt. Pulaski or Vonderlieth Living Center. Funeral Services were entrusted to Fricke-Calvert- Schrader Funeral Home in Mt. Pulaski. mory Jennie L Allsopp, 90, of Mt. Pulaski, passed away peacefully at 11:10 P.M. "Wednesday August 5, 2015 at Vonderlieth Living Center in Mt~ Pulaski. Jennie was born on NOvember 19, 1924 in Olive Branch, IL to Montgomery and June Moore Green. She married W'mfred Allsopp Jr. January 1, 1946 in Lincoln; he preceded her in death June 24, 2005. Surviving is son - William (Carla) Allsopp of Escon- dido, CA; daughter - Peggy (Dennis) Miller of Middle- burg, PA; brother - Philiip (Ann) Crawford, of Florida; ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Her parents, husband, two sons, Terry and James, one daughter Connie Logan, one grandson, and two sisters preceded her in death. Jennie was a member of the Mt. Pulaski i:irst United Methodist Church. She retired from the State of Illi- nois, and collected angels. Services for Jennie August 11 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mr. Pulaski. Mark Weber officiated. Memorials: Mt. Pulaski First United Methodist Church or Vonderlieth Living Center. 10 Duane ]arnagin, 58, of Mt. Pulaski, passed away at 4:55 P.M. Saturday August 8, 2015 at Kindred Hospital in Syca- more. Duane was born August 30, 1956 in Fort Leavenworth, KS to Mr. and Mrs. Lester Jarnagin. He was a carpen- ter and attended St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in M't. Pulaski. He is survived by his par- ents; son Michael (Michelle) Rorem of Huntsville, AL; sib- lings, Susan Boyer of Valley Park, MO, Anna (George) Beckers of Mt. Pulaski, Scott Jarnagin of Mt. Pulaski, and Julie Jarnagin of Mt. Pulaski; and two grandchildren. Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 A.M. Tues- day August 18 at St. Thomas ~_, Aquinas Catholic Church in Mr. Pulaski. Rev. Jeffrey Liable officiating. Visitation will be from ca 10:00-10:30 prior to services at the church. Burial will immediately follow at Mt. Pulaski Cemetery.
