ELKHART PUBLIC LIBRARY DISTI(ICT ORD. NO. 2012-02 ANNUAL BUDGET AND APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AN ORDINANCE termed the combined tentative annual budget and appropria- tion ordinance in and by which the governing body does appropriate such sum or sums of money as may be deemed necessary to defray all necessary expenses and lia- bilities of the ELK.HART PUBLIC LIBRARY DISTRICT, Logan County, IUinois, for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2012 and ending June 30, 2013, and specifying the objects and purposes for which such appropriations are made and the amounts appropriated for such objects and purposes. WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the ELKHART PUBLIC LIBRARY DIS- TRICT, Logan County, Illinois, has caused to be prepared in tentative form a budget and appropriation ordinance, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and the Board of Trustees of the ELKHART PUBLIC LIBRARY DISTRICT, Logan County, Illinois: SECTION 1. The fiscal year of this District be and the sin-he is hereby fixed and declared to be from July 1, 2012 to June 30, 2013. SECTION 2. (a) Estimate cash on hand at the beginning of the fiscal year, July 1, 2012 $50,000.00 (b) Estimate of the cash expected to be received during the fiscal year July 1, 2012 to June 30, 2013 $55,395.00 (c) Estimate of the expenditures contemplated for the fiscal year July 1, 2012 to June 30, 2013 $55,395.00 (d) Estimated cash expected to be on hand at the end of the fiscal year on June 30, 2013 $50,000.00 SECTION 3. That the following sum or sums of money, or so much thereof as may be authorized by law, be and the same are hereby appropriated for the objects and purposes herein specified to defray all necessary expenses and liabilities of the ELKHART PUBLIC LIBRARY DISTRICT, Logan County, Illinois, for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2012, and ending June 30, 2013: I. CORPORATE FUND Personnel Expenses: Salaries $23,000.00, Unemployment Compensation 1,250.00 Operating Expenses: Office Supplies 1,650.00, Bank Service Charge 20:00, Tele- phone 1,450.00, Utilities 2,900.00, Building and Equipment Maintenance 3,000.00, Travel, Education and Training 600.00, Postage 250.00, Trash Removal 200.00, Dues & Memberships 1,750.00, Professional/Legal Services 3,100.00, Library Materials Books, Tapes, CDs, 5,850.00, DVDs 300.00, Periodicals 700.00, Children's Program 900.00 Capital Outlay: Equipment/Computers 350.00, Building Improvements 4,000.00 TOTAL CORPORATE FUND $51,270.00 II. RETIREMENT AND SOCIAL SECURITY FUND Employer Social Security and Medicare Tax 2,100.00 INSURANCE FUND 2,025.00 GRAND TOTAL $55,395.00 SECTION 4. The Board of Trustees of the ELKHART PUBLIC LIBRARY DIS- TRICT has by Ordinance No. 89-90 established a special reserve fund, pursuant to the provisions of the Public Library District Act, to be accumulated from the unex- pended balances of the proceeds received annually from public library taxes. SECTION 5. Should any clause, sentence, paragraph or a part of this ordinance be declared by a court of competent jurisdicti0n to be invalid, such decision shall not affect the validity of the ordinance as a whole or any part thereof other than the part so declared to be invalid. SECTION 6. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of its passage and approval as provided by law. He has gone to City Hall and asked for some pothole relief. ' He even offered to do it himself. But was told not to. As of this photo, only grass clippings filled the pothole. September 12 by the Chestnut Street Light District on the proposed Appropriation Ordi- nance for the Fiscal year July 1, 2012 through June 30, 2013.
