Concert Canceled Mt. Pulaski's Com- munity Band' concert set for Wednesday, August 17 has been canceled. Several band members have other commitments and cannot attend. Three Generations in Nursing Helen Fine gradu- ated Memorial Hospi- tal School of Nursing 1947. Susan graduated Hospital Fine Caley St. John's School of Nursing 1983. / :i!il ! Erin Caley gradu- ated Millikin University of Nursing 2010. Helen was a nurse until she retired in 2009 at the age of 83. She says she enjoyed her 62-years in health care. Now, Helen's daughter Susan and granddaugh- ter Erin are carrying on the family tradition. Susan and Erin are working in the same hospital and occasion- ally see each other at work. August 6, 2011 Class of 1961 held 50 th Class Reunion July 23 at Mt. Pulaski American Legion Twenty-three Classmates were able to attend... The class of 1961 has lost ten classmates. Two couples have been married 50-years and five cou- ples have been married 49-years. A good time was enjoyed by everyone. Classmates attended from - Illinois, California, Arkansas, Georgia, Florida, and Missouri. Pulaski area, died at 9:20 A.M. Tuesday July 12, 2011 at Cottage Hospital, Galesburg. Ms. Hacke was born August 18, 1954 in Decatur to Eugene Howard and Audrey Irene Taylor Hacke. Her parents and grandparents preceded her in death. Graveside services were Monday July 18 at Two Mile Grove Cemetery. Rev. Rachel Stockle officiated. District fall convention Next Logan County Walter Edward Foster, 81, passed away Thursday, June 23, 2011.. He was born May 27, 1930 in Trenton, NJ to George and Anna Foster. :  Walter served in the US  : Naw from 1947 to 1951. Hebecame a Quality Control . Engineer in the electrical industry for 40 years. He was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Poway, CA. His favorite pastimes were trap shooting and he enjoyed being a well-rounded handyman. Walter is survived by his son and daughter -in-law, Paul (Becky Jo) Foster of Escondido, CA and grandchil- dren Ryan and Julia. He was preceded in death by his wife Patricia on May 14, 1998. A memorial service was held at noon on Friday, July 8,2011 in San Diego, CA. Memorial contributions may be made to the Arthritis Foundation, 9089 Clairemont Mesa Blvd. #104, San Diego, CA 92123-1288.
