Our group dined Tuesday, July 16 at the Dragon Buffet in Decatur. Perhaps the best Chinese buffet in central Illinois, their menu included everything one's little heart could desire, The food was fresh, hot, and Perfectly flavored. Inexpensive, yet with elegant surroundings, it provided a peace- ful, welcoming, and comfortably cool place to relax. Co-hostesses were patsy Garlits and Sandy Ohler. As a genuinely nice surprise, Pat S. was presented with a lovely bouquet of orange lilies, yellow carnations, and white daisies for her (I ain't tellin') birthday! It was much appreciated by the recipi- ent, who feels our group of ladies include some of the sweetest gals in the State. (Thank you again, dear friends). We lingered for quite awhile over second and third cups of coffee and tea (after all...it is Chinese!) and enjoyed visiting with one another. For those of the group who were unable .to attend, due to illness, travel, etc., we keep them inour thoughts and prayers. Mark your calendars for our next luncheon ll:30am Tuesday, August 20 at the Olive Garden, 3795 N. Water in Decatur. Hostess is Ruth Barry. Please call her to confirm reservations at 792-5525. Remember, guests are always welcome...come join us for a little time out from daily routines.. Submitted by Pat Straumann
