Pulaski 175th Celebration Parade Times Photos (except as noted) The most unique item given out during the parade came from'the "Queen of Comland". When her highness, passed, she rolled out a can of corn to a lucky recipient. One of those lucky recipients laughed and said, "At least it wasn't tossed!" Only because of your editor's inside knowledge, the library entry was among the fastest parade entries. At one point on the downside of Washington Street - Amy Dyer called out to Lynn "Pick up the pace, these horses are going to run over us!" The pace was picked up and all "booked it" to the end. Storage Space/[variable I 500 S. Garden St. Mt. Pulaski 175 th Celebration Parade Winners Elkhart Historical Society won for Heritage. Founding Fathers-City Float-Carriage won for mayor's choice/best of show. Mt. Pulaski United Methodist Church was best church float. Zion Lutheran Church won for the theme of "Life on the Hill" Retired Teachers won for best organizational/ civic/business.
