7 Topper Ladies: Out & About... Tuesday, June 21, our group met and dined at the Chesapeake Sea- food House in Spring- field. This particular scenic and peaceful place to dine is just the answer to real life stress and worry. And, best of all, it,s a place very dif- to beat with excel- ficult lent food, great wait t~ staff, and reasonable ~ prices. Their ten-dollar buffet is very good. Food choices are exceptional and everything is well prepared and delicious. Co-hostesses were Phyllis Edwards and Ruth Barry. They had prepared beautiful little boxes containing Rus- Sell Stover candies for each place setting. And yours truly (who never wins anything) took home the attractive door prize, a centerpiece of potted pink geraniums with small white flow- ers cascading over the edge of the white pot. It is perfectly lovely and it is displayed on my front porch. Thank you so much to the co- hostesses. And, thanks to Jenny Sams who carded it to my car for me..: all the while, I might add, threatening to take it home for herself.., can you believe that? Just kidding, Jenny. Our July meeting will be held Tuesday, July 19, at 1 l:30am in Decatur's Beach House Restaurant on Lake Decatur. Co- hostesses are Bev Cyrulik, tel. 792-3562, and Robin Benson, tel. 217/971-8732. Please call either co-hostess to assure yourself a reser- vation. Anybody is welcome to come join the pleas- ant conversation, good food, and happy camara- derie. We look forward to seeing you then.
