JANSON cOOPER has achieved the Janson is a member of Mt. Pulaski Troop #122. He is the son of Jeff and Julie Cooper of Mt. Pulaski. Janson is the grandson of John and Janet Cherry and Judy Cooper all of Mt. Pulaski. Janson star'ted scouting in 2001 as a Tiger Cub SCout and moved up through the ranks of scout- ing crossing over to Boy Scouts in 2006. Janson is an elected member of the Order of the Arrow.- He attended and completed a high adventure trek to Philmont Scout Ranch in Cimarron, New Mexico in 2009. He accomplished the high- est rank of scouting in November 2012 under the direction of Scout- master Greg Maus of Mt. Pulaski. An Eagle Scout of Honor was held on January 5 at Zion .Lutheran Church in Mt. Pulaski to celebrate this accomplis_hment. Jansoffs Eagle Scout project was completed for the Logan County Fair Association. His project was to paint and refurbish fair display pieces. The project was funded through the Logan County Fair Association and was completed with the help of his fellow scout members and fair secretary, Mike Maskc. Janson is a recent graduate of Mt, Pulaski High School. He is active in FFA as a 4 year member and served as secretary, and histo- rian. He was a 4 year member of the golf team and a 4 year member of the concert, pep, and marching band. He also served as the senior class treasurer. Janson plans to attend Lincoln Land Community College in the fall majoring in Animal Science.
