Varsity Top five in Agri ScienceFair: ELIZ.FrH ALLEN;Elizabeth was selected as one of the Top Five projects in the State of Illinois. Elizabeth's AgriScience research project was entitled "The Effects of Seed Treatments on Soybean Germination." LOGAN COUNTY DEMOCRATS announce Illinois Secretary of State, Jesse White, will be their headline speaker at their annual Chicken Dinner Friday, July 26at the K of C, 217 N. Limit Street-in Lincoln. Chicken with all the fixings will be served from 5-7:30pm. Homemade desserts will also be included. The speakers will begin at 6:30pro. Entertainment will be Matt and Jenn Hobler of Champaign, pro- riding acoustic music. There will be 50/50 and, drawings for gift baskets.
