Pulaski will City remove landscape waste that has been placed within the area between the sidewalk and I the edge of the street. w If the weather is bad, we will pickup on the next day with good weather. To help us serve you better, we ask , that that our residents please follow  these guidelines: = Have your landscape waste ready for = pickup by 7Am Monday, July 2. . NEW REQUIREMENT... All small debris, grass, leaves, etc. must be in bags. Do not place any material in the street or on the sidewalks. Place all material within 6'of the edge of pavement, Do not remove entire trees from your private property and place them for City pick up. If you hire a contractor to remove your trees, have your contractor haul the material to the Sewage Treatment Plant and place the material in the proper location. Erich is the son of Mike and Suzie Maxheimer of Chest- nut. Erich was recognized as Senior-of-the-Year. September Senior-of- the-Month, and was recognized as a Prairie State Scholar and an Illi- nois State Scholar. He received a Rotary Club scholarship, the Ryman- Fuiten Memorial scholarship, the David Cates memorial scholarship and the DAR good citizen award. Erich was also named the outstand- ing student in Physics and Physical Education, and received the Senior Mathematics award and the Outstanding English IV award. He was nameda "Top Ten" student in the Class of 2010. A high honor roll student, Erich is active in Student Council and National Honor Society. He was an award winner in Worldwide Youth in Science and Engineering, advancing as a state qualifier in Chem- istry. He also participated in Science Olympiad, winning first place in fossils at the state competition at Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville. He has been an active member of the Spirit Squad, Prom Committee, Spanish Club and Yearbook Committee. During high school he has been named Student-of-the-Year in United States His- tory, Chemistry, and Foods and Nutrition. Erich was elected Sophomore Class President and currently serves as Senior Class President. He earned a varsity letter in baseball in both 10 t and 11 th grades. In the community Erich is a member of Boy Scouts of America Troop #1122. He is an Eagle Scout and a member of the Order of the Arrow brotherhood. He twice successfully completed Philmont, the high adventure camp in New Mexico, and served as crew leader there. Erich has been employed as a detassler, and also worked in mainte- nance for the Mt. Pulaski school district the last two summers. Erich plans to attend the University of Illinois. Kyley is the daughter of John and Erin Wyss of Mt. Pulaski and Holly and Travis Surprenant of Washington, Illinois. Kyley's honors include being named the Outstanding Foods and Nutrition student, receiving the Senior Science Award and the Senior Social Studies Award. She was named a Logan County Student-of- the-Month, and was named an Illinois State Scholar, a Prairie State Scholar, and a "Top Ten" student award. Kyley received a National Merit Scholarship Corporation Special Scholarship through State Farm Insurance Company. She is also the recipient of the Mt. Pulaski Rotary'Club scholarship, the Mt. Pulaski Education Association Scholarship, and the Shelter Insurance Foun- dation scholarship. Kyley has been a high honor roll student every semester, was named October Senior-of-the-Month, and is a two-year member of National Honor Society. She is a four-year member of Drama Club and was a two-year member of Student Council. K,ley has been a Spanish Club member, serving as President for two years, and she is a four-year member of Spirit Squad, serving now as Vice President. Kyley was a member of the band her sophomore year, and has com- peted with other students through Worldwide Youth in Science and Engineering for three years. Kyley has been a very active member' of Family, Career, and Com- munity Leaders of America, holding the office of Section 12 Executive Council President for tw O years, Chapter President for two years, Chap- ter Vice-President for one year, and Foundation Officer for one year. Kyley is a four-year member of the award-winning Toppers volley- ball team, and participated on the track team for two years. She worked for two summers as a lifeguard at the Mt. Pulaski Town- ship Park District Pool, and for one year at Pizza Man of Mt. Pulaski. Kyley plans to attend the University of Illinois as a pre-med student majoring in Biology.
