Family Life Center, on Lafayette. POlice Report By Mike Lakin Chief Lynn Freer ran a routine license check and found the motorist was without license. He also had a conviction in 2010 for driving suspended. Less than a month earlier. he had been arrested for driving while suspended. His one hope, a Pennsyl- vania license, had expired three days earlier. His car insurance had been can- celled for non-payment. There was nowhere else to go, but to jail. Chief Freer made traffic stop for the same reason as above. Driving while revoked he was also off to jail. Yes, you can be stopped for no traffic vio- lation, just stupidly driv- ing without a license. Chief Freer followed a Mt. Pulaski resident who had just drove into his driveway, Knocking on the resident's door, Chief Freer asked to see his driver's license. When none could be produced, the resident was arrested and taken to jail. The resi- dent had been stopped five previous times for driving suspended/revoked.
