H Club Held Regular Meeting The Narita Ag 4-H Club held their regular meeting in the home of John Waddell on May 4, at 8 p.m. 15 members an- swered roll call and 3 guests were present. The results of the safety poster contest were an- nounced by Marilyn Stoll, chair. mall. High school winners were 1st, John Waddell, 2nd, Kim Westen. Grade school and Jr. high win- ners were 1st, Juhe Howe, 2nd, Louis Voile. A big thanks to all who participated. A talk was given by Stephanie Barry, "1971 Herbicide". Spe- cial Number: Randy Westen, "Cross Breeding", Kevin Stoll, "Expanded State-Wide Recrea- tional Facilities" and Kim Westen, "Buffalos". The Pork Bar-Be-Cue and carnival has been planned fo June 11, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Logan County Fair Grounds. Anyone desiring tickets may contact Gary Jack- son, 674-3631 or Kevin Stoll, 796-3372 or any 4-H member, or leader. Recreation was planned and led by John Waddell. Refresh- ments of Cherry Delight, sand- wiches and pop was served. FUNERM, SERVICES FOR LEONORA EBEL AY, MAY 14 Funeral services for Mm. Leonora C. Ebel were held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, May 14 at Chestnut Zion Lutheran Church with the Rev. D. E. Kirchner officiating. Mrs. Hubert Stoll sang "'Jer- usalem, the Golden" and "Abide with Me". Mrs. Byron Downing was organist. Interment was in Union Cem- etery in Lincoln, lllinois. Pall- bearers were Russell McDon- noughy, Dwain Marten, Edwin Johanssen. Raymond Koenig, Clifford Leimbach and Victor Stoll. Formal Induction Of F H A Members The May meeting of the Mt. Pulaski Chapter of the Future Homemakers of America was held Thursday, May 13, at 3:30 in the Home Ec Room at the high school. During the meeting, the fol- lowing girls were formally in- ducted into the Mt. Pulaski Chapter of Future Homemakers of America: Cathy Rice, Janice Stewart, Joy Combs, Lisa Mil- ner, Hope Smith, Melody Nay- lor, Peggy Allsopp, Jeannine Craft, Virginia Fulk, Jean Schahl, and Donnita Wilson was an ac- cepted transfer member.
