MAIL BOX IMPROVEMENT MAY 15 to MAY 20th From May 15 to May 20, the annual mail box improvement program willl again be observed this year. All rural boxes should be checked at this time to see that they meet Department speci. fications. The most common faults found are that boxes need painting, no name on the box, no signa4 flag, the box should he at the proper heighth, and the box should be leveled and the post firmly plant- ed. If all these faults can be cor- rected the carriers will greatly appreciate it and they can also give you better service. Robert Horn, P.M.
