Walter Edward Hagenbuch Jr., 88, of Mt. Pulaski, died at 8:40 pm Sunday April 29, 2012 at Vonderlieth Living Center. Walter was born January 16, 1924 to Walter Edwd and Ruby Vetter Hagen- buch Sr. He married Carlene Lingenfelter on August 14, 1949 in Mt. Pulaski. She survives. Also surviving are sons - Edward (Rebecca) Hagenbuch of Ham Lake, MN, Randy (Michel/e) Hagenbuch of Chestnut; daughter- Jan (Gary) Hannam of Canton; and six grandchildren; Walter retired as manager of shipping and receiving at Sears and Roebuck in Decatur working from 1948-1979 and was custodian at Mt. Pulaski School Dis- Joan (Lee) Hinds, 76, of Elkhart passed away at home. She was born June 3, 1935 in Lincoln to Patrick Mathew and Theresa (Laffy) Lee. She married Donnie Hinds on November 26, 1955 in Elkhart. He preceded her in death on September 24, 1996. She is survived by her children, Kevin (Debbie) Hinds of Girard; Brian (Chris- tie) Hinds, Mark (Ter Hanner) Hinds and In Mem0ry Hickey Marjorie M. Hickey June 16, 1925 April 17, 2012 Marjorie M. Hickey, 86, of Mt. Pulaski, formerly of Lincoln, passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at St. John's Hospital. A Mass of Christian Burial was held Friday, April 20 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Lincoln. Rev. Glenn Fontanna officiated. Burial was in Holy Cross Cem- etery in Lincoln. Marjorie Mae Hickey was born June 16, 1925 in WaynesviUe, Illinois the daughter of Holton and Emma Meechum Leever. She married Harold E. Hickey on October 11, 1948 in Lincoln. He preceded her in death on June 6, 1997. Pulaski, an Army Air Corps veteran, serving during WWII, a member of the American Legion Post #447, Illi- nois State Police Auxiliary; he was a Mr. Pulaski Constable as well as an avid Chi- cago Cubs and Chicago Bears fan. Services for Walter were Thursday May 3 at The Mt. Pulaski Christian Church. Mark Weber officiated. Burial will be at a later date. Memorials: Vonderlieth Living Center or Mt. Pulaski American Legion Post #447. Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Mt. Pulaski was entrusted with arrangements. Michelle Hinds, all of Elkhart; Bridgette (Phil) Crites of Owaneco and Craig (Julie) Hinds of Chestnut; 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grand-daughters. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive her. She was preceded in death by her par- ents, husband and siblings. Funeral Services were Saturday, April 28 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Mt. Pulaski. Burial was in Steenbergen Cemetery. Surviving are her children: Larry (Nancy) Hickey of Warrensburg, Gary (Patti) Hickey of Forsyth, Michael (Barb) Hickey of Springfield, Linda (Larry) True of Georgetown, KY; Nine grandchildren and Eleven great grandchildren. Four brothers and one sister preceded her in death. She was a former member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Decatur. She had been employed at K Mart and General Electric in Decatur. Janet Lee Downing Rubin Feb. 15, 1937" April 23, 2012 J Janet Lee Downing Rubin, 75, of Mt. Pulaski died at 7 am Monday, April 23, 2012 at Vonderlieth Living Center. Her funeral was Wdnesday April 25 at The Mt. Pulaski Christian Church. Mark Weber officiated. Burial was in Mt. Pulaski Cemetery. Janet was born February 15, 1937 in Lincoln, the daughter of Orville and Thelma Voile Downing. She gradu- ated from Mt. Pulaski High School and attended nurse training in Springfield. She worked at Christian Homes in Lin- coln and was a nurse's aid at Vonderlieth Living Center for 17 years before she retired. Janet enjoyed taking bus tour trips with her mother to many places through- out the United States. Janet was preceded in death by her parents and one son Jeffrey. Surviving are her brother Roy Dean (Marylyn) Downing of Mt. Pulaski, nephew Troy Downing of Edmond, OK and niece Tracy Pulliam of Mahomet. Memorials: Mt.
