By Mike Lakin The Topper Booster Club recently purchased a new class composite holder which has been put in place by the high school janitorial staff (Tom Davis). Deron Powell said they are missing only the Class of 1970. There wasn't a composite photo for the Class of 2003, but they are working to create one. A technical problem arose in .getting the photos to remain in the frame, but Steve Klemm (Picture This) came to the t rescue wI+h a suggestion. And, since Dan Phillips was a moving force in getting this done, here's Dan's senior photo. Assisting Deron with getting the photos in the holder were - Darrell & Mary Knauer; Sharon Gerdes; Monica, Kevin. and Justin Knauer: and Jo Ann Walsh. Compliments have been received fronl Alumni and stu- dents; the latter getting an opportunity to see parents "back in the day". Now that almost all of the graduation pictures of the high school classes are back on dis play, maybe the school can .... raise funds by charging to have your "old" senior graduation picture removed. "Just thinkin," That was a nice surprise to see my pic- ture on the front page of the Mt. Pulaski Times. Thanks Mike. Well, that high-light of my life is over. Now I can go back and do normal things again, such as catch up on sleep, relax, type on Ron,s computer, visit with Kathie and Marc, catch up on letter writing, etc. On the Lighter Side - A man stood at the bar drinking martinis and dropping the olives into a small glass jar. After he was full of martinis and the jar was full of olives, he got up, picked up the .6 jar of olives, and staggered out. "I never saw anYthing so peculiar in my life." said another customer to the bar- rence's tender. . "What's so peculiar?" asked the barman. "His wife just sent him out for a jar of olives." _:rner for Thought - Matt 1:21 You should call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins. t~ If you find yourself in a hole, the first thing to do is stop diggin'.
