Collier, 63, of Cornland died at 2:25 a.m. Wednesday, April 7 at the Abra- ham Lincoln Memorial Hospital in I,incoln. Mr. Collier was born Decem- ber 5, 1907 in Williamsville, Ill., a son of Francis and Frances Evans Collier. He was a farmer and had never married. He is survived by three broth- ers, William and Harold of Mt. Pulaski, Earl of Williamsville, one sister, Mrs. Edna Stellar of Elk- hart. A sister preceded him in death. Visitation will be Thursday afternoon and evening at _.the Schahl Funeral Home. Funeral services for Donald Collier will be at 2:30 p.m. Fri- day, April 9 at the Schahl Fun- eral Home with ourial in Walnut Hill Cemetery at Williamsville. VARIETY SHOW AT GRADE SCHOOL TO AID CANCER FUND A cancer benefit Variety Show will be given at grade school gym, Friday, April 16, 1971 at 7:30 p.m. Comedy, singing, dancing, country music, lo,.al talent as TV personalitis,.Kitchen Band, etc. will provide entertainment for the whole family. There will be a free will offering. Mrs. Kenneth Stoll is chair- man of the event. "'Ya All Come". Nancy Febus Given Bridal Shower Miss Nancy Febus, bride-elect of Pvt. Mark Awe, U. S. Army, Ft. Leonard Wood, Mo. was honored at a miscellaneous shower Tuesday, March 30th at the Copeland Christian Church by friends and relatives. Nancy is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dallas Febus, rural Mt. Pulaski and Pvt. Awe is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Schahl of Lake Fork. The table was centered with a multicolored spring bouquet and accented on either side with crystal candelabra holding pink candles. A crystal punch bowl was used for the fruit punch and the crystal dishes held the mints and nuts. Color scheme was carried out in pink napkins and cloth with white lace overlay. The program consisted of musical selections by a girls vocal trio from Lincoln Christian Col- lege. A devotional on marriage was given by Mrs. Harold Eye. Mrs. J. Lee Hild and Mrs. Dallas Gene Febus, sister and sister-in-law of Miss Febus, served the refreshments. They were assisted by Mrs. Hild's daughter, Lou , nn. Guests attended from Spring- field, Clinton, Lincoln, Illiopolis, Elkhart, Cornland, Lake Fork, Buffalo, Middletown, Niantic and Mt. Pulaski. The wedding is April 11 at Copeland Christian Church. Remember - Cancer Benefit Show - Friday eveninl - April 16 GUEST SPEAKER AT CHRISaXAN CHURCH REVIVAL MEETING Beginning Easter Sunday eve- ning and continuing through Fri- day night (April 11-16) the Mt. Pulaski Christian Church will be hosting a week of meetings. The nmsic will be lead each night by Mrs. Kaylene Idleman with many specials in song being brought by people in the Church. Wayne Shaw will be opening the Bible each night to bring Christ-cen- tered messages which will bless the lives of all who attend. Mr. Shaw holds a Ph.D. degree in speech from Indiana university and preaches from a wealth of knowledge about God's Word and how it relates to the lives of people.
