MTI 4th Grade Wins Indiana Tournament MTL a Lincoln and Mt Pulaski based 4th grade team~ won the "Paoli Shootout" i'n French Lick. Indiana. The team went 6-0 defeating Spring Valley, Larry Bird's alma mater, in the championship game. MTI plays the familiar 1-2-2 half court trap defense, but this was a "'man to man defense" only tour- nament. Upon hearing MTI normally plays a zone. one Indiana coach remarked. Bridget will complete the out- side director term that expires December 31, 2012 that was pre- viously held by Dr. Kim Harris. of Carbondale. Bridget is a Registered Repre- sentative with Lincoln Financial Securities Corp. She has been a financial advisor for more than a decade, specializing in retirement planning for individ- uals and investment consulting for businesses. In 2008. Bridget earned the Chartered Retire- ment Planning Counselor des- ignation. Earlier in her career, Bridget gained consumer and mortgage lending experience. Bridget earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business and retail from the University of Illi- nois at Urbana-Champaign in 1983. She is a member of the First United Methodist Church of Lincoln, a past president of Lincoln Kiwanis Club, and was a nine-year member of the Lincoln Community High School Board of Education. Bridget and her husband, Joe. own a rural farm homestead northeast of Lincoln where they have resided for 26 years. They have two children. Alyssa and Blake.
