Mt Pulaski City Council will hold its regular second meeting on Tuesday, April 28 in Atlanta as part of a joint meeting with the Atlanta City Council. The meeting Will be held at the golf course in Atlanta. An agenda is not yet available as to what this joint meeting will be about. The Council is looking at scheduling a special meeting 6:30pm Tuesday, April 21 to discuss the expected bids on the water tower project. that, in less there is an emer- gency, there will be no further tree cutting in town at this time. Trimming of trees will be ongoing, but only an emergency tree removal will be considered. The City will be providing a letter of support for the Mt Pulaski Courthouse Foundation and its effort to raise funds for the courthouse. The county's solid waste proj- ect is reaching the end of its 20 years existence and finds it's operating in the "red". Coun- cilmember John Utterback rep- resents the City on the Solid Waste Committee. John said that the committee has to find a new source of revenue for it to continue. Between now and June there will be discussions on the Solid Waste Committee as to whether to continue the project or to do away with it altogether. The next City Council meet- ing will be 6:30 PM Tuesday, April 14 in City Hall.
