II*,ndy Tung*,te sometimes sees a bird. Randy sometimes sees a dragon. Sometimes... well you get the idea. Randy Tungate has been welding for 35-years. Not long ago he was looking for something to do and started gathering broken tools and metal - shovels, hinges, post-hole diggers, springs. You name it; Randy was finding it and bringing it home. Fawn asked her husband " what he was dong.., bring- home all this junk. tte was even buying it... what was his problem? Then Randy started work. Welding up imagina- tive animals, flowers, drag- ons; and are those snakes or slugs? 18 Fawn now displays Randy's work at her shop on the West Side of the Mt. Pulaski Square. And Randy's art is being bought. Randy commented, "Con- sider what it's made of - ,It will last forever." Randy is still taking broken tools and scrap metal. Call him at 737- 5100.
