Schaffenacker, 80, passed away at 3:14 am Friday, March 16, 2012 at Maple Ridge Care Center. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Wayne Schaff- enacker. Lowell was born to Carl and Mollie Krieg Schaffenacker on October 19, 1931 in Lincoln. He married Norma Mac Sutton on November 21, 1951 in Lincoln; where she lives. Other survivors include son - Randy Schaff- enacker of Lincoln; daughter- Susan (David) Storey of Lincoln; Sister Mildred Lowe Hickey May 16, 1923 March 14, 2012 Mildred Lowe Hickey of Pasadena, Texas, formerly of Mt Pulaski, passed away on March 14, 2012. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Elizabeth Sue in June of 1945, and one son, Silas M Lowe II in June 1985. She was the last survivor of six sisters and one brother. Mildred was a bookkeeper for thirty years in Mt Pulaski, a member of the Mt Pulaski Christian Church, and the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Scroggins Gee Post 777. She was born May 16, 1923 in Macon County, a daughter of Robert and Nettle Gandy Sturgeon. Thursday - March 22, 2012 - Pat Falker of Lincoln; Sister-in-Law Ruth Schaffenacker of Mt. Pulaski; and grandchildren - Ollie Clampet of Springfield, Curtis (Emily) Clam- pet of Lincoln, and Deidre Schaff- enacker of Lincoln; and great-grand- son- Hawken James Clampet. Lowell worked in maintenance at the Logan County Correctional Center and retired in May of 1991. Lowell also was a former Lincoln Alderman. Funeral Services were Monday, March 19 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln. Rex,. Andrew Nyren officiated. Burial was in Zion Cemetery. Memorial: Immanuel Lutheran Church or donor's choice. Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Mt Pulaski was entrusted with arrangements. She married Silas M. Lowe on December 23, 1940. He preceded her in death on October 21, 1979. She then married Wm Bryan Hickey on September 23, 1981. He preceded her in death on July 21, 1997. Survivors include daughters- Rose Marie Smith of Pasadena, Texas, and Donna Jean (Terry) Johnson of Ft Lauderdale, Florida; stepson- John (Susan) Hickey of Lisle; seven grand children, sixteen great grand children, and seven great-great grandchildren; two step grandchildren, and one step great-grandchild. Funeral services were Monday March 19 at the Mt. Pulaski Chris- tian Church. Pastor Silas M. Lowe HI and Pastor Mark Weber officiated. Burial was in Grace)and Cemetery, Decatur. Fricke-Calvert, Schrader Funeral Home, Mt Pul ki was entrusted with arrangements. Mt.
