French and son Milton, left Monday for Rochester, Minn., to enter the Mayo Clinic. J. M. Constant, brother of Mrs. Celia Poffenbarger, is seriously ill in the DMC hospital at Decatur. Miss Katherine Connolley, Chi- cago, daughter of Mrs. Dave Con- nolley, arrived here the first of the week and then went to the ALM hospital in Lincoln, for med- ical attention. Ellis Bredenstiner, northwest of the city, who was a patient at [St. Clara's hospital, Lincoln, has entered St. John's hospital at Springfield. Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Herschel Wright in Decatur. Marion Alsup has received word of the death of Mrs. Jennie Burds- ley, Saturday, in Council Bluffs, Iowa. A brother, Loren Alsup, of Decatur, and sister, Mrs. Myrtle Truuer of Niantic, survive. Mr. and Mrs. Linn Rau drove to Lima, Ohio last Saturday to visit her brother, Mr. and Mrs. Marshall Berry.
