6--TIMES-NEWS (Mt. Pulaski, I11.) THURSDAY, MARCH 18, 1971 fORMER PRESIDENTS MET MARCH 4 The Former Presidents&apos; Club of the Mt. Pulaski Woman's Club met at the home oLMrs. Herbert Shellhammer Thursday, March 4th at 1:30 p.m. Eight members were present. Two guests, Mrs. Gladys Lyons and Mrs. Violet Shull were also present. Mrs. Lyons reported on Na- tional Library Week which will be observed from April 18 to April 24. During this week, rep- resentatives of the various clubs of the city will be present each day at the Muldoon Library. Cookies and coffee will be served to the public. Mrs. Oswald Brooker and Mrs. Richard Baker will represent the Former Presidents' Club. NOTE OF THANKS I wish to express my thanks and appreciation to our neigh- bors, friends and relatives who visited, sent cards and flowers to me while a patient in Decatur Memorial Hospital and since re- turning home, to those who sent food and lent a helping hand to US. A special thanks to my sisters who have done so much for me and to Rev. Zumstein for his prayers and sits. May God bless all of you.
