11 The Farmers Bank Community Banking Week Planned Events April 5 - 10, 2010 is the 20 th Annual Community Banking Week in Illinois. This year's theme is 'The grass is always greener on the Community Banking side." The officers, directors, and  employees of The Farmers Bank of Mt. Pulaski hope that q you will join us as we observe - and recognize our specialweek and celebrate our great com- munity. During Community Banking Week, The Farmers Bank of Mt. Pulaski will be hosting numer- O ous events. There will be giveaways, " refreshments, and activities for - everyone's participation all -- week long. , On Monday, April 5 th, a blood m drive, in support of the Cen- t,# tral Illinois Community Blood -.- Center, will be held from 9 am  to Noon. CallLeslie at 792-5211 to set up an appointment to donate blood. Some other activities planned for throughout the week include a food drive for the Lincoln-Logan Food Pantry, a guess how much is in the jar contest for kids, and a display of historical items showcasing the history of the Bank. In keeping with this year's "green" theme, the Bank will have a gardening craft activity (where kids can decorate a flower pot and plant a flower or vegetable to grow) and will be Collecting clean, recyclable plastics. Join us for a Customer Appre- ciation cookout on Friday, April 9 th from 4 pm to 6 pm with free hot dogs, chips, and drink. Mark your calendalr for the week of April 5 th and stop by the bank to help us (celebrate our great community.. Pulaski Took First Place The Mt. Pulaski 6th Grade Bruins took first place in the Edinburg Tournament on March 6. This is a back-to-back win for these boys who also won the trophy as 5th graders last year. Congrats boys on a great season!
