Wally Kautz was thanked by many well-wishers at his retirement get-together the afternoon of Wednesday, March 11. Wally has retired as the Mr. Pulaski Courthouse Site Superintendent. Among the many congratulating him was Mayor Jim Fuhrer. Former Illinois Site Superintendent Richard Schaftick was among those thanking Wally for his years with the courtllouse. Richard was the Comxhouse Superintendent before Wally. Richard commented that WaUy had an "insti- tutional memory" of the courthouse that served the site well for many years.
