Charles D. Schroth March 9, 1933 March 4, 2012 Charles D. Schroth, 78, of Latham died at 11:25 A.M. Sunday March 4, 2012 at Decatur Memorial Hospital. Mr. Schroth was born March 9, 1933 at the Deaconess Hospital in Decatur to Irvin Earl and Wardie Roselda Coates Schroth. He married Mary K. Drabing on June 2, 1956 in Mt. Pulaski. She survives. He is also survived by seven chil- dren, Kathryn Jean Aughenbaugh of Chestnut, Marcia Lynn (Carl) Harlow of Laurie, MO, Cheryl Ann (Robert Jr.) Shaw of London, OH, Douglas Charles Schroth of River- ton, Rebecca Diane (Mark) Mul- lins of Bushnell, FL, Carol Susanne (Raymond) Way of Riverton, and Bradley Dale Schroth of Bushnell, FL. He is also survived by three sis- ters, Norma Shehom of Mt. Pulaski, Carol (Larry) Alsup of Beason, and Sonia (Paul) Heft of Kenney, as well as twelve grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Elizabeth Hawk, brother Dean Schroth, son in law Dennis Aughenbaugh, great grand- daughter Jule Russo and great grand- son Jacob Green. Charles was a retired farm laborer, a member and past Commander of the Sons of the American Legion Post #447 of Mt. Pulaski, a Mt. Pulaski and Chestnut baseball little league coach, he was the last surviv- ing member of the Board of Directors who had the foresight and who pur- chased the ground for the Warrens- burg Sportsman Club, Past President of the Chestnut Men's Club, and a diehard Chicago Cubs fan and never missed a game. There 11 be a celebration of life held from 4-8pm Friday March 9, 2012 at the Mt. Pulaski American Legion. Memorials: Charles Schroth family. Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mt. Pulaski will be conducting services. Soup Buffet Middletown  Church's soup dinner is 10:30 am - 1 pm Sunday March 11 Adults $6, Child 4-12 $3, 3 and under free. Dixon in the son of Randy & Kelly Aylesworth and grandson of Linda Ayers and Jo Aylesworth. Dixon enjoys playing percus- sion in band, is a member of the baseball and basketball teams, and serves on the MPGS student council. He also enjoys youth group at the Mt.
