City of Mt. Pulaski Wins "Best Tasting Water" Award Second Year in a Row The conference highlights new regulations coming from the EPA and provides training on new equipment and products used within the Water and Sewer Municipal Utilities. Mt. Pulaski provided a sample of the city's drinking water for the ann, al taste test competition. The City of Mt. Pulaski won this contest for the second year in a row. As a result of winning this competition, Mt. Pulaski's Water Department will represent the State of Illinois in the National Taste Test in Washington DC in February 2013. In addition the City of Mt. Pulaski received a State of Illinois Award from the Illinois Depart- ment of Public Health for perfect compliance with Fluoride levels Mt. Pulaski. All voting members of Illinois Rural Waters Associa- tion (IRWA) were eligible to enter the contest. Judges based their decision on clarity, odor, and taste. Mt. Pulaski was the winner with a score of 25 out of a pos- sible 30 possible points. In recognition of the City of Mt. Pulaski's perfect compliance with Fluoride levels, the Illinois Department of Public Health acknowledge the City of Mt.
