5 Johnson True Value Doubled Your Paint Choices N O I t9 " For a few years, Johnson True Value has had its paint color match system. No matter what ' color you brought in, they could mix a gallon of paint that matched that color. Recently, the local True Value doubled the available stock color options for you. Now when you walk in to talk paint colors you have choices... 1,176 of them. Called the Ultra Premium color collection, you can contemplate the nuances of shades of your particular color. There is also an ideas and inspirations collection that fea- tures idea cards. There are eighty cards with 3-colors on each card to give you the selec- tion of complimentary colors to go with your paint choice. But, there's more. There is what is called the trend section. Here you'll find the current color trends that you see on all of the home decoration TV shows. Being trendy, these colors are updated about every six months with the most popular current colors. If you have a major painting project, the 1,176 paint chips are available in a c,onvenient "borrow and take home" pack. So you can stand there contem- plating all the possible color combinations for that room that needs updating. Scholarship Offered Mu Chapter of Alpha Delta Kappa, an international honor- ary sorority of women educators, is offering a $500 scholarship to a student pursuing a career as a teacher. The applicant must be a graduate of a DeWitt or Logan County high school and in his/ her junior or senior year for the 2010-2011 school year at their college or university. The schol- arship is to be used for educa- tionally related expenses. Selec- tion will be made on the basis of the application, transcript, essay, and recommendations.
