Soup Supper Latham Firefighters will be holding a Chili & Vegetable Soup Supper with desserts and drinks Saturday, March 7 from 3 to 7 PM. Cost is by dona- tion. There will also be a 50-50 drawing. Proceeds will be used towards the purchase of fire- fighting Small Tools. Meet March 14 Logan County Democrats meet at 10 am Saturday, March 14 at the Lincoln Public Library. I found this article (height of water tower compared to wind turbines) and had to chuckle, people in this town are wanting a new school, new swimming pool, better township roads, equipment for fire department and on and on. These are the same people who cares that the turbines are going to be 5 1/2 times taller than the water tower. What is the difference how tall they are if they hel p our community lets not pass this up." Molly Mackenzie Harris, 21 years old from Maroa, graduated with honorsin December (a semester early) from the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) with a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Political Science/International Relations with a minor in His- tory. Molly is a 2011 graduate of Maroa-Forsyth High School and the daughter of Rick and Cyndi Butkovich-Harris, Maroa. She is also the granddaughter Pat Butkovich, Mt. Pulaski and Donald and Carolyn Harris, Ft. Myers Beach, FL. Molly moved to Washington, DC in December where she accepted a position working for a Member of the United States Congress on Capitol Hill. Molly has spent the past 3 summers interning on "the hill" and is excited to be working in a congres- sional office. She started her new position in Washington, DC on Jan. 5, 2015.
