LLCC 2012 Regional Wyse Academic Challenge Winners Students from 21 high schools in the Lincoln Land Community College district competed in the 16th annual Worldwide Youth in Science and Engineering (WYSE) regional academic challenge held at LLCC&apos;s Springfield campus. Students competed as individu- als and as teams. Students tested in a choice of two different sub- jects--biology, chemistry, com- puter science, engineering graph- ics, English, mathe and physics. Teams that place either first or second (.or third in divisions with eight or more teams) within their respective divisions at the regional level are eligible to advance to the sectional competition to be held at Illinois College in Jacksonville Tuesday, March 6. Those teams advancing to sectional competi- tion include Division 300 - Mt. Pulaski and NokomiS." Teams and individuals that score high enough at the sectional competition will advance to the state finals, which Will be held April 2-5 at the I-Hotel and Con- ference Center at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
