In a true "build it and they will come" - they did. The sledding hill had been getting a workout- at least until the warmer temperatures arrived. Pulaski went with a com- pany that said it could save the city money on its util- ity bill. Mayor Jim Fuhrer reported at the Feb. 8 City Council meeting that the city indeed has saved money. In Oct. 2010 the city saved $2,800. In Nov. 2010 the city saved $1,500: In Dec. 2010 the city saved $1,800. In Jan. 2011 the city saved $300. Alderman Darrell Knauer took this costs saving proj- ect on. Darrell made a bet this would work. The bet involved a steak dinner. But I believe that bet wasn't "shaken on".
