"Jim" Brown, 79, of Mt. Pulaski,  died at his home at 4:58 aan. Saturday, January  . 17,2015. - "l/lll Jim was born October 31, 1935 in Mt.  " Pulaski, the son of Samuel Leonard and Vema  " Anderson Brown. He was united in marriage to ,  Mary Hahn in September of 1957. Mary sur- fives him in Mt. Pulaski. Their union produced three children - Mark (Gall) Brown of Kalama- zoo, MI, Jill (Mike Saulsberry of Woodbridge, CT, and Ann (Wayne) Cowan of Lexington, KY; and five grandchildren - Jeff and Carolyn Brown, Drew and Alex Cowan, and Leah Saulsberry. His parents, one sister and one brother preceded him in death. Jim graduated from Millikin University in 1957 with a Bachelor's degree in Business and Industry. His employment included real estate broker, time keeping department of Clinton Power Plant, planned giving counselor for the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod, and estimator for Lincolnland Graphics. Jim was an active member of Zion Lutheran Church in Mt. Pulaski serving in various capacities: School Board, Sunday School Superintendent, Elder and Congregational Chairman. Services for Jim were Saturday, January 24 at the Zion Lutheran Church. Rev. Glenn Stroschein officiated. Burial was in Mt. Pulaski Cemetery. Memorials: Mt. Pulaski Zion Lutheran School or to the Zion Lutheran Church. Arrangements were entrusted to Fricke - Calvert - Schrader Funeral Home, Mt. Pulaski. in Memory-- Jean Martin, 95, of Mr. Pulaski, .died at 7:59 PM Sunday January 25, 2015 at Vonder- lieth Living Center in Mt. Pulaski. Jean was born September 30, 1919 in Gold- en, IL to Harry John and Margaret Angeline Tholen Wible. She married Harry S. Martin Jr. on January 25, 1942. He preceded her in death on January 21, 1996. She is survived by sons - Stephen Martin, Jeffrey (Jean) Martin, Thomas (Cheryl) Mar- tin, and daughter - Mary (Tim) Southedan, all of Mt. Pulaski; grandchildren - Douglas (Erin) Martin, Derek (Renee) Martin, Kari (Justin) Gardner, Christopher Martin, Abbie (Jim) Mulkins, Ashley Southerlan and Matthew Southedan; and great grandchil- dren - Drew, Alec, Luke, Ella, Dean and Reed Martin. Her parents and one sister Geri Zimmerman preceded her in death. Jean was a member of the St. John's Lutheran Church where she was on the Church Council, Mt. Pulaski Historical Society, Mt. Pulaski Courthouse Foundation, 2001 McMurray College Alumni of the Year, Past President of the Mt. Pulaski PTA, board member of the Mt. Pulaski Chamber of Com- merce, Mt. Pulaski Pool Foundation, Mt. Pulaski Community Players, Mt. Pulaski Community Pride, Logan County Abraham Lincoln Heritage Foun- dation, and Logan County Tourism. She has also served as the chairman for the Mt. Pulaski Fall Festivals where she Was the Grand Marshall of the 1987 parade. A celebration of her life was held Thursday January 29 at St. John's Lu- theran Church, Mt. Pulaski. Pastor Barbara Stroud Both officiated. Burial was in Steenbergen Cemetery. Memorials: Mt. Pulaski Courthouse Foundation, Vonderlieth Living Center Foundation, or St. John's Lutheran Church. Schroth, 31, of Bush- nell, Florida passed away December 26, 2014 in a car accident in Bush- to nell, Florida. Bradley was born Au- to gust 22, 1983 in Lincoln, the son of O I.t Becky (Schroth) MuUins. ol His grandparents, Charles Schroth and Bill and Laura Mullins and un- cles, Brian Mullins and Dennis Augh- enbaugh, preceded Bradley in death. Bradley is survived by his parents - Becky and Mark Mullins of Bush- nell, Florida; grandparent - Mary Schroth of Latham; brothers - Joshua Mullins of Bushnell, Florida and Mi- chael Mullins of Fort Hood, Texas; niece - Madison Mullins; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Bradley was laid to rest January 5, 2015 at the Bay Hill Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.
