He was born on Feb- ruary 3, 1921. He married Mary "Peggy" Downing on October 26, 1940, and they recently celebrated their 70 m mmiversary. He is the father of four daughters: Kathy (husband Franklin) Richardson of Mesa, Arizona; Judy (hus- band Lyndel) Emrick of Mt. Pulaski; Gloria (hus- band Dave) Reynolds of Springfield, and Deborah Klein, deceased. There are 12 grandchildren, 19 great- grandchildren, and 6 great- great-grandchildren. However, the Times filled me in on what I missed. I go to bed with the chickens, (liter- ally). We did drive up to the square earlier and the town looked beautiful, with lighted trees in each-window. I've heard nice yemarks about the whole affair, entertainment food, etc. You guys did a GREAT job with Tom Martin in charge. The start now of 2011. On the Lighter Side - Hugging is Healthy ...... Emily is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana- Champaign and is employed at John Deere in Moline. She is currently pursuing her Masters in Business Administration from Indiana University. Josh is currently employed at Phoenix Closures, Inc. in Davenport, Iowa and is pursuing his Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering Technology from Hamilton Techni- cal College. The wedding is planned for November 12,2011 at the Mt. Pulaski Christian Church with a reception to follow at the Knights of Columbus in Lincoln.
